‘Transformers 2′ Fell Into Princeton Filming

On Tuesday, June 24, film crew shooting for “Transformers” sequel, “Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen”, has been spotted on the campus of Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey. And, with that comes a bunch of new on-the-set videos and pictures showing what happens during the shooting there.
One of the videos which can be seen below exposed the action film’s star Shia LaBeouf when he is filming a scene for the sequel as well as goofing around to kill the time. In several different footages, the young actor can be seen acting as Sam Witwicky who is portrayed in the scene clutching to his books while talking on the phone. We snapped some pics of Shia LaBeouf skating around while filming parts of Transformers 2 in Princeton, NJ. Shia was jumping around and trying to olley on the grass for about 5 minutes (who knows why?!). This guy has quite the knack for Ivy League schools it seems. The library scene in the latest Indiana Jones movie took place at Yale, and now Shia’s in Tigertown.

New ‘Eagle Eye’ trailer!

Paramount/DreamWorks just released a new theatrical trailer for Eagle Eye, which I’m guessing must be attached to prints of Wanted (which hits theaters this Friday). The new D.J. Caruso-directed fast-paced race-against-time-thriller which stars Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan as “two strangers who become the pawns of a mysterious woman they have never met, but who seems to know their every move. Realizing they are being used to further her diabolical plot, they must work together to outwit the woman before she has them killed.”

New Video- Silly Shia And Company

The threesome of Shia Labeouf, Megan Fox, and Ramon Rodriguez seemed to be in a little bit of a silly mood, as they filmed this particular scene.
The three ’skip’ the shoot as Bumblebee and friends ‘watch’. We do get a nice view of Bumblebee alt mode, and some interesting commentary from the camera operator about the bystanders being oblivious.

The shooting in Philadelphia continues for “Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen,” and Isabel Lucas, Shia LaBeouf, and Bumblebee were spotted during a night shoot on the streets near the University of Pennsylvania.
The first set of photos comes to us from “zacklur,” who lives right next to the shoot that took place during the night hours. The overhead photos give a good look at Bumblebee’s alternate mode, the production 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, Isabel Lucas (Alice), and Shia LaBeouf filming scenes.
According to the descriptions by the Flickr member, Alice, wearing an attractive dress, leans into Bumblebee’s passenger-side window and talks to Sam, Shia LaBeouf’s character. Something happens and she stomps off, leaving Sam to yell at Bumblebee.
A green goo also plays into the scene somehow, which gets on Alice and probably plays into her storming away act.

Trailer For Shia LaBeouf’s Eagle Eye

When he’s not playing sidekick to pop culture’s biggest icons, Shia LaBeouf is starring in taut, tense thrillers for director D.J. Caruso. Last year they had some success with Distrubia, and this year they’re together again for Eagle Eye, a thriller about a hapless innocent targeted by terrorists.
Eagle Eye’s first trailer is here, no doubt to coincide with Shia’s swinging performance in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Shia looks good in this, though the reliance on telephone shaped MacGuffins for thrillers getting a bit tiresome. Still, this might be fun. Check out the trailer below: Read the rest of this entry»
